Welcome to Kerie! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kerie mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using Kerie, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About Kerie

Kerie is a digital marketplace that allows users to:

  • Buy and sell handcrafted items, digital goods, and custom-made products

  • Discover creative templates and DIY resources

  • Connect directly with sellers or buyers

The Platform is operated by Kerie by Layo Ecommerce Inc.

2. Eligibility

To use Kerie, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

  • Comply with all applicable laws in your country or region

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our rules.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure

  • Ensuring information in your profile is up to date

  • All activity under your account

Do not share your account or impersonate others.

4. Buying on Kerie

Buyers may browse, place orders, and make secure payments through supported gateways (e.g., Maya, GCash, Stripe) etc.

Buyer Responsibilities:

  • Read full item descriptions before purchasing

  • Contact sellers directly for customization or order concerns

  • Understand that some products may have processing time or digital delivery

All payments are final unless the seller or Kerie approves a refund per policy.

5. Selling on Kerie

Sellers can offer digital or physical products after creating a vendor account.

Seller Responsibilities:

  • Accurately describe products and pricing

  • Fulfill orders within the stated timeframe

  • Respond to messages in a timely manner

  • Comply with intellectual property, safety, and tax laws

Kerie may charge transaction or subscription fees. You will be notified in advance of any changes.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Sell illegal, counterfeit, or harmful products

  • Use the Platform for fraud, harassment, or spam

  • Post misleading, hateful, or obscene content

  • Bypass fees or abuse referral programs

Violations may result in account suspension, removal of listings, or legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including logos, designs, templates, and images — is owned by Kerie or its users. You may not copy, modify, or use content without proper authorization.

As a seller, you retain rights to your original products, but grant Kerie a license to display, promote, and sell them on the Platform.

8. Payments & Fees

Kerie partners with trusted third-party payment processors. You agree to:

  • Pay applicable product and service fees

  • Accept that Kerie may deduct commissions or service charges

  • Receive payouts according to the selected schedule and withdrawal method

We are not liable for issues caused by third-party gateways.

9. Returns & Refunds

Kerie encourages sellers to provide fair return or refund policies. Digital downloads are generally non-refundable unless defective.

Buyers must contact sellers directly for resolution. Kerie may mediate if needed.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.

11. Disclaimers

Kerie provides the Platform “as is” and does not guarantee:

  • Product quality, availability, or performance

  • That the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free

  • That all users will comply with local or international laws

You use the Platform at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kerie is not liable for:

  • Loss of income or data

  • Disputes between buyers and sellers

  • Delays or damages caused by external services or carriers

Our liability is limited to the amount paid to us in the 12 months prior to a claim.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If changes are material, we will notify users via app notification, email, or banner. Continued use means you accept the changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, unless stated otherwise.
